Ranbir Kapoor undergoes physical transformation for Ramayana (Social Media)
Entertainment News: Veteran actor Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for his upcoming movie Ramayana. The actor plays Lord Ram in the Nitesh Tiwari movie, and he is putting a lot of effort into getting fit for the role. Nam-Wook Kang, his fitness coach, recently provided details about the rigorous training. Ever since the first announcement video featuring the actor's first appearance, the much-anticipated movie Ramayana has been creating a buzz around social media.
Kang posted several videos of Ranbir working hard both indoors and outside before Ramayana on Instagram. Based on the videos, Ranbir Kapoor's workout routine combines calisthenics, functional movement, and advanced strength training in a potent way. He can be seen doing muscle-ups and forceful clap pull-ups on Roman rings in one clip.
In another, the actor is also seen performing battle rope drills and lifting kettlebells, which are all meant to increase cardiovascular endurance, grip strength, and full-body training. Wearing a grey shirt and navy blue shorts, he displays a strong sense of commitment.
He has also been climbing through hard terrain with his trainer as part of his physical transformation for Ramayana. Cycling, which focuses on heart health and lower-body training, appears to be a regular part of his routine. In order to enhance his lungs and general stamina, he also resorts to swimming, a full-body, low-impact activity. According to his trainer, Ranbir starts running outside to improve his mental and cardiovascular endurance.
The epic saga Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, will be released in two parts. Sai Pallavi plays Mata Sita in it as well. KGF star Yash will play Ravana, while Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman. Ravi Dubey, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Kunal Kapoor, Sheeba Chaddha, Indira Krishnan, and Shobhana are also part of the ensemble cast. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan will appear in the movie. The release of Ramayana is scheduled for Diwali 2026.
